Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, licensed psychologist to join our team in Columbia, SC, for the academic/contract year beginning August 4, 2025 and ending May 29, 2026. This is a fixed-term opportunity in the psychology discipline, in which youll provide high-quality clinical services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support our mission of delivering outstanding mental health care.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to clients needs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., case managers, clinicians, educators) to coordinate care.

Conduct intake evaluations, psychological testing, and write clear, concise reports.

Monitor progress, adjust interventions when needed, and document outcomes.

Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to program improvement, and maintain compliance with professional, regulatory and agency standards.
Required Qualifications

Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology (e.g., M.A./M.S./Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.

Active psychology license (or eligible for licensure) in South Carolina.

Demonstrated experience in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage a caseload within the contract timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a school-based, university, or community mental health setting.

Familiarity with working in academic calendar cycles or fixed-term contracts.

Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, especially in the Columbia, SC region.
